Certification
Edith is a certified performance technologist (CPT). This
designation is awarded by the International Society for Performance
Improvement (ISPI) to experienced practitioners in the field of
organizational performance improvement who submit client testimony
and documented evidence (reviewed by qualified peers) to demonstrate expert application of
ISPI's
standards of performance and
code of conduct.
The CPT designation reassures clients that Edith uses a proven
methodology to improve productivity and performance within their
businesses. It validates that she systematically and systemically
identifies and removes barriers to individual performance and organizational
productivity.
Education
Edith received a B.A. from Lincoln University (MO) in English, a B.S. from Elmhurst College (IL) in business administration, an M.B.A. from Aurora University (IL), and a Ph.D. from Capella University (MN) in education with the specialization of training and performance improvement.
Research Interests
Edith's research interests are:
- the perception by employees (especially across generational dimensions) of their work environment, and its influence on selection, design, and development of performance improvement solutions
- how the design of effective and efficient documentation systems contributes to improved productivity at the organizational, process, and employee levels.
