How BDT Works with Clients
BDT works in
partnership with our clients to discover those factors or barriers they believe are keeping
their businesses from moving forward.
Throughout the consulting engagement,
findings and recommendations are explained so everyone involved in
the performance improvement process understands their significance and
how they work toward gaining the desired outcomes (results).
What BDT Does
By using a set
of practical tools, methods, and procedures, we review two
environmental performance support areas within your organization: (1) the current data or
information streams that advise employees regarding their roles and
performance expectations, and (2) the current tools and resources
provided to employees to do their jobs.
As we review these areas and
recommend solutions, we are continuously mindful of how generational
differences of employees can influence work environment perception
and performance. We find that looking at how
employees view their work setting from a multigenerational
perspective helps:
-
To reveal possible shortfalls management
may be unaware or may not have considered as being shortfalls
-
To determine where to concentrate organizational resources
-
To determine whether
additional assessment of environmental support factors is needed
-
To select, design, and implement performance improvement solutions
-
To measure the success of the performance
improvement solutions
These include unclear and outdated
work process guides, and business function policies
and procedures; absence of performance support tools and materials;
ill-defined processes and procedures; and unsafe or unorganized work
conditions.
The workshops range in length from
half day to two day sessions, depending on the objectives. For more
